PILATES CLASSES AT SNCInstructor Susan Stumpf
Pilates classes focus on the fundamental principles of Pilates: posture, balance, breathing, and strengthening the core. The Pilates Method addresses the body as a whole, correcting weaknesses to improve on over-all body balance, and works to strengthen the deep postural muscles which support the spine and allow us to sit and stand in better alignment, and move with more ease, precision and zest!
Susan Stumpf, our Nationally Certified Pilates Instructor, has been teaching Pilates for over 20 years, and has had a wide range of teaching experiences which include owning and operating several Pilates Studios, as well as working for highly qualified fitness, physical therapy and sports-related organizations.
Classes are open to anyone interested, regardless of ability, age, or previous Pilates knowledge; however Susan prefers meeting with potential class participants prior to their first class. She offers a complimentary private session before beginning classes, to be sure you are familiar with the concepts and exercises, and in order to ensure your best experience and enjoyment. If you are interested, please call or text Susan at 904-710-2495. She is excited to offer her knowledge and love for Pilates with our community.

WATERCOLOR CLASSInstructor Becky Peebles
Watercolors by Helen Smathers
The weekly watercolor classes with Becky Peebles are structured for beginners through advanced students. Each class is $35 per session.
Starting with loose washes and progressing to details, you will learn Becky's technique which could be described as realism with a dash of Impressionism (or soul!). Beginners through Advanced are welcome to attend.
Every other session begins with Becky demonstrating a particular technique, leading the class step by step. After this warm-up, the class will move on to individual work. Each demo is independent of the one before and after... you are never behind, even if you miss a class. The sessions in which there is no demo are to allow students to develop individual style with hands-on guidance.
There is no advance registration... these are ongoing classes. Limited seating is available. Please call Becky at 706-969-2052 to reserve your space.Dates: every ThursdayTime: 1:00 till 4:00pmPlace: Center Art StudioCost: $35 per sessionSkill level: Beginners through Advanced are welcome to attendRegistrationDeadline: On-going
