"People of different ages, backgrounds, and beliefs connect with one another with warmth and smiles and laughter… I am overjoyed to see so many new young people getting involved - so that this wonderful gem of a dance can continue long into the future." - Julianne Wilson

Welcome Volunteers

The Sautee Community Dance at the Sautee Nacoochee Center is nothing without you. It is you! From the day it was founded the Center has been "joining hands" - bringing people together in a place that offers creativity, mutual support and fun.

As a dancer, musician or volunteer, you join the community in building something good, something of value, something that brings joy and cooperation to the world.

"Join hands" (volunteer) to make the dance happen by doing one or more of the following:

  • Speak to someone in the box office
  • Email info@snca.org
  • Call 706-878-3300
  • Complete a Volunteer Application: Volunteer Application

The Sautee Community Dance was built by many fine volunteers who knew how to "give weight", who helped make the dance happen over the years. From the founding committee to the folks who came early or stayed late, the ones who clean up or carry water, the countless musicians and sound techs who donated their talents and time, this dance could not be what it is today without volunteers.

The next time you are at a dance and they take a moment to recognize volunteers, thank those people. They "gave weight" so that you could have a great time.
