The Sautee Nacoochee Center’s children’s theater class, Sautee Stars, will be performing Dr. Seuss’s classic tale, How the Grinch Stole Christmas, this fall.
Inside a snowflake exists the magical land of Whoville!
In Whoville, lives the Who's! All of the Who's love Christmas, yet just outside of their beloved Whoville lives the Grinch. The Grinch is a nasty creature who dislikes Christmas and plots to steal it away from the Whos. Yet a small child, Cindy Lou Who, decides to try to befriend the Grinch. Will the Grinch and his dog, Max, return the Christmas goodies that they stole from Whoville?
The class is for ages 5 – 12. The students will learn basic theatre skills and have the experience of performing onstage for their friends and families.
The class meets every Tuesday from 3:30 to 5:30 pm in the Center theatre with instructor, Jessi Evans.
The class begins Tuesday, September 4 and ends with performances on Saturday, December 1st and Sunday, December 2nd.
Cost for the 12-week program is $75, SNCA members $65. Registration forms are available at the front desk or a printable version is linked below.
