Visit the Twin Galleries
And You Will Be “Bedazzled”
Since the new show opened April 27 those who have visited the Twin Galleries have been “Bedazzled”. The juried glass artists have brought their best fused glass and other types of jewelry, fused glass wall pockets, stained glass night lights and lamps, stained glass windows and wall hangings, hand blown glass paperweights, vases, plates, bowls and vessels, and other glass trimmed art items.
“Bedazzled” will continue through June 10. During this show Lee Brantley, vice president and general manager of WTVM-TV in Columbus, GA, will have his award-winning photography on exhibit as our hallway invitational artist.
Also in this show are functional and decorative pieces of clay art, pottery, jewelry, fiber art, numerous paintings, a variety of wood turned, wood sculpture and wood furniture plus other forms of art.
There is never an admission charge to enjoy the twin galleries. You will be amazed to see the art on exhibit which is also for sale. This is the perfect place to find just the right affordably priced gift for a friend, family member, or yourself.
The Center Gallery and Gallery Too host seven themed art exhibits annually which feature art created by local artists who live within a 50-mile radius of the Center. Come visit the galleries to see the wide selection of art on display created by your neighbors.

Beginning Saturday, June 9, 2012 - the same day as the third annual 12 Rivers Art Festival - the Sautee Nacoochee Center will be hosting the 35th annual meeting, month-long exhibition of watercolor paintings, and a five-day watercolor workshop for the annual gathering of the Southern Watercolor Society.
Southern Watercolor Society members from eighteen southern states plus Washington, DC have submitted a total of 435 paintings for jurying and then final judging. The judge for
this event is Frederick Graff, internationally renown watercolorist, who has conducted
painting workshops for over 40 years. His responsibility is to accept only 90 paintings for
the exhibition.
The final juried paintings will be on display at SNCA in the main hallways and in the conference room beginning June 9th and extending through July 8th.
Graff’s five-day workshop, “The Creative Process of Watercolor”, will be held in the Sautee Nacoochee Center community hall June 11 through June 15.
